This book is terrifying and hilarious. Terrifying because it is an inside look at how amazingly hard Navy SEALs truly are and the crazy things they are able to handle; hilarious because Jesse Itzler is a comical genius and delivers a captivating memoir of how “seal’ (who we all know now is David Goggins) absolutely destroys him for a month straight. We can all relate to Itzler somehow and I think that is why the book is such an easy read.
“Living with a SEAL” is not just a fitness journey for Itzler, but rather a transformative experience that inspires us to embrace discomfort, challenge what you think you are capable of, and unleash your full potential in all aspects of life.
It kind of makes me want to hire someone to kick my ass 24-hours a day… But also, not really… Thanks Jesse
