Charlie’s Book Score – 8.6/10

This book is full of advice for the aspiring entrepreneur and/or leader. The main takeaway I got from this book was the concept of radical transparency. And if you’re wondering what radical transparency is, just apply common sense and you’ll get it. No secrets, no lies, nothing hiding, get all the facts on the table, then make decisions…

A few other nuggets from Dalio’s handbook for success are to (1) hire people that are smarter than you and who have no problem disagreeing with you, and then it is your job as the leader to seek to understand; (2) identify core principles that are consistent with your want, goals and values; and (3) meditate.

This is one of those books with like a million chapters and you can simply open it to whatever page and read that chapter for some inspiration on that particular day. A true handbook for how to achieve success.
